Indications

HEPTRA-XL is a supportive supplement for:

  • Fatty liver, alcohol-related liver stress, or raised liver enzymes.
  • Persistent tiredness, slow recovery, or poor diet with possible vitamin/mineral gaps.
  • Long-term medicine use or lifestyle factors that may burden the liver (e.g., alcohol, high-fat diet).

It is meant to support medical treatment and lifestyle changes.

How it supports the body

  • The liver-focused ingredients (silymarin, L-ornithine L-aspartate, NAC, glutathione, choline, inositol) work together to protect liver cells, help with detox, and reduce fat build-up in the liver.
  • Energy and metabolism are supported by CoQ10, L-carnitine, and the B vitamins, which help convert food into usable energy and reduce feelings of fatigue.
  • Vitamins and minerals (iron, zinc, iodine, copper, B-complex, folic acid) help correct common deficiencies that can quietly contribute to weakness, hair fall, low immunity, or poor concentration.

Side Effects

Most people tolerate HEPTRA-XL well, but some may notice:

  • Mild stomach upset, nausea, loose stools, or bloating.
  • Headache, a strange taste in the mouth, or mild rash/itching.
  • Iron can sometimes cause constipation or dark-colored stools.

Contact your doctor in case of any severe allergy signs (swelling of lips/face, trouble breathing, intense rash etc.).

Interactions and precautions

  • Iron and zinc in the supplement can reduce the absorption of some antibiotics if taken at the same time; usually, a gap of a few hours is advised.
  • Patients on blood thinners, thyroid medicines, or already taking separate iron/zinc or multivitamins should check with their doctor to avoid excess or unwanted interactions.
  • Those with iron-overload disorders, serious liver or kidney disease, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children should only take HEPTRA-XL under medical advice.
